Booking a trip to another country online should be exciting—not stressful. If you're planning your journey to China, you may have questions about how to pay, when payment is required, or whether international payments are secure.

At Buer China Travel, we believe the booking process should be simple, transparent, and flexible. You only need to pay a 30% deposit to confirm your booking, while the remaining balance can be settled after you arrive in China. We also offer multiple secure payment options, so you can choose the one that works best for you.

Below you'll find everything you need to know about our payment process, accepted payment methods, and cancellation policy.

How to Book & Pay for Your China Tour

We use a simple two-step payment process designed to make booking your trip straightforward and secure.

Step 1: Pay a 30% Deposit

After you've confirmed your itinerary, a 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. Your deposit allows us to reserve your private guide, vehicle, hotels (where applicable), high-speed train tickets, attraction tickets, and other travel arrangements that require advance confirmation. Once your deposit has been received, we'll send you a booking confirmation along with your finalized itinerary and make tour arrangement accordingly. 

Step 2: Pay the Remaining 70% After You Arrive

The remaining 70% balance can be paid after you arrive in China and meet our team. Many of our guests appreciate this arrangement because it means you don't need to pay the full tour cost before your trip begins. You can travel with greater confidence, knowing that everything has already been arranged before making the final payment.

Payment Methods We Accept

To make booking as convenient as possible, we offer several secure payment options for travelers from around the world.

Transparency is important to us. Any payment processing fees listed below are charged by third-party payment providers—not by Buer China Travel. We do not add hidden payment fees or profit from these charges.

Bank Transfer 

International bank transfer is very common payment method, especially for deposits and larger tour payments.

• No payment processing fee is charged by Buer China Travel.

• Ideal for larger payments.

• Funds are usually received within 1–5 business working days.

• You'll receive a payment confirmation as soon as your transfer has been received.

Please note that your bank may charge an international wire transfer fee depending on its own policies. These fees are determined by your financial institution and are not charged by Buer China Travel.

Stripe (Credit & Debit Cards)

If you prefer to pay online by card, we accept secure payments through Stripe. Supported cards include: Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, American Express (where supported) and more. Stripe uses internationally recognized security standards and encryption technology to protect your payment information.

Processing fee: 3.5% of the payment amount. This processing fee is charged directly by Stripe for handling international card transactions. Buer China Travel does not receive any portion of this fee.

PayPal

If you already use PayPal, it's a quick and convenient way to complete your payment. Payments are securely processed through your PayPal account without sharing your card details directly with us.

Processing fee: 4.4% of the payment amount. This fee is charged directly by PayPal for processing international transactions. Buer China Travel does not collect or profit from this fee.

Alipay & WeChat Pay

If you already use Alipay or WeChat Pay, you can also use either platform to pay your deposit or remaining balance. These payment methods are particularly convenient if you're already in China or have linked your international bank card before your trip. Notmally it charges 3% as service fee charged by Alipay/Wechat company. Buer China Travel does not charge any additional processing fee for payments made through Alipay or WeChat Pay.

Paying for Everyday Purchases in China

Although your tour payment can be completed using any of the methods above, you'll find that most everyday purchases in China are made using mobile payment apps. Restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, taxis, shopping malls, and even many street vendors accept Alipay and WeChat Pay.

Before you travel, we recommend linking your international Visa or Mastercard to one of these apps. Most international cards are now supported, making it easy to pay throughout your trip without carrying large amounts of cash. If you'd like help setting up Alipay or WeChat Pay before you arrive, your Buer China Travel consultant will be happy to assist you.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can sometimes change. If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation policy applies:

• More than 8 days before your scheduled tour date: You will receive a full (100%) refund, and no cancellation fee will be charged.

• Between 3 and 8 days before your scheduled tour date: A 20% cancellation fee will apply. The remaining balance of your payment will be refunded.

• Less than 3 days before your scheduled tour date: Unfortunately, no refund can be provided.

If you need to change your travel dates instead of cancelling your tour, please contact your travel consultant as early as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate your request, subject to the availability of guides, vehicles, hotels, transportation, and attraction tickets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Whether you choose bank transfer, Stripe, PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat Pay, your payment is processed through secure and trusted payment channels.

Do I have to pay the full amount before my trip?

No. You only need to pay a 30% deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining balance can be paid after you arrive in China.

Can I pay with Visa or Mastercard?

Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, and American Express (where supported) through our secure Stripe payment system.

Why is there a processing fee for Stripe or PayPal?

The processing fees are charged by Stripe and PayPal to process international payments. Buer China Travel does not charge or profit from these fees. If you'd like to avoid payment processing fees charged by these platforms, we recommend choosing bank transfer.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes. Bank transfer is our recommended payment method, especially for larger payments. We'll provide our official company bank account details once your itinerary has been confirmed.

What currency do you accept?

All our tours are priced in US Dollars (USD), but we accept all major currencies! If your card is in Euros, Pounds, or Singapore Dollars, your bank will just convert it automatically when you pay. However, if you want to use PayPal, please pay in USD or your home currency. PayPal doesn't have an option for Chinese Yuan (RMB/CNY), so it won't let us accept RMB payments through their platform.

What should I do if my payment doesn't go through?

Occasionally, banks may block international transactions for security reasons. If this happens, simply contact your bank or let your Buer China Travel consultant know. We'll be happy to help you choose another payment method.

Can I receive a payment confirmation or invoice?

Absolutely. A payment confirmation will be sent after each successful payment, and an invoice can be provided upon request.
