High-Speed Rail from Beijing & Private Station Pick-up
Take the early high-speed train departing from Beijing West Railway Station to Xi'an North Railway Station, with a smooth 4-hour rail journey to avoid long driving fatigue. Our private driver will wait at the arrival exit and provide seamless pick-up service, then drive you directly to Lintong Terracotta Army Museum on well-paved tourist highways, with one short rest stop on the way.
In-depth Tour of Terracotta Army Museum
Upon arrival at the UNESCO World Heritage site, your professional guide will lead you through a 3-hour intensive themed visit without rushing crowds. We start with Pit 1, the largest excavation site, where you will appreciate the complete battle formation of infantry, archers and cavalry, and listen to detailed explanation on troop arrangement, weapon configuration and the military system of the Qin unified empire. Then we move on to Pit 2, a multi-branch mixed army camp, focusing on the painted pottery figures and excavation stories of the famous kneeling archer, together with knowledge of pigment oxidation and cultural relic protection. Pit 3 serves as the military headquarters of the whole army; the guide will sort out the command system of the underground legion, and explain why the whole mausoleum troop was arranged strictly following real ancient military rules. Afterwards we visit the Bronze Chariot Exhibition Hall, admiring two exquisite imperial carriages inlaid with gold and silver ornaments, and learn about ancient metallurgy and carriage manufacturing techniques. The whole interpretation focuses on sculpture features, craft differences, archaeological excavation progress and historical background, digging deep into the funeral culture of Emperor Qin Shi Huang instead of simplified tourist stories.
Private Transfer back to Xi'an North Railway Station & High-speed Rail Back to Beijing
Wrap up the in-depth cultural visit, and our private vehicle will drive you back to Xi'an North Station conveniently, so you can catch your return high-speed train back to Beijing smoothly.
