Route A: Easy Family/Old Friendly Hiking （4-5km，3h）
Start onward at Mogaowu, where a refreshing rural trail unfolds ahead. Follow the path deep into lush bamboo groves, where towering bamboos stand densely on both sides, forming a cool green corridor. Gentle rustling of bamboo leaves fills the air, bringing a pleasant sense of tranquility.
The trail then leads to a crystal-clear mountain stream. The shallow water flows gently over smooth river stones, creating a soothing rippling sound. Here you can enjoy fun water activities and try catching small fish in the stream. The water is shallow and the terrain is flat, making the whole route extremely kid-friendly — even 4-year-old children can walk and play along easily without fatigue.
This route bypasses the ticketed Jianchi Scenic Area, allowing you to explore the natural wilderness at your own pace. After enjoying the stream fun and admiring the idyllic woodland scenery, we will head back along the original path to finish this relaxing outdoor journey.
Route B: Challenging Hiking （8-9km，4-5h）
Set off from Mogaowu and start a classic hiking loop across Moganshan. Your first stop is Jianchi, a serene scenic spot embraced by dense woods. Surrounded by towering trees and rugged rock formations, the quiet pool hides deep in the mountains, presenting a peaceful and secluded natural view.
Continue uphill to Ancient Wangwu Platform. Standing at this historic vantage point, you can overlook rolling mountain ranges and layered woodland scenery stretching far into the distance, a perfect spot to pause and admire the panoramic mountain views.
Next, arrive at Luhuadang Park. Wide stretches of reed marshes sway gently in the breeze, paired with lush green plants, creating a soft and poetic wilderness landscape. Keep moving forward along the trail to Baibu Ridge, where stone steps wind up the hillside amid thriving vegetation. The fresh mountain air and varied plant scenery accompany you all the way.
The hike proceeds to Naked Castle, a distinctive landmark blending European-style architecture with natural mountain scenery. Nestled on the mountainside, it stands out beautifully against the surrounding forests and peaks, forming a unique mixed view of nature and exotic buildings.
This circular route eventually leads back to the starting point Mogaowu. The total elevation gain is around 470 meters. The path consists mainly of stone steps, earthen trails and flagstone roads. With moderate difficulty and diverse scenery along the way, this route is ideal for first-time hikers exploring Moganshan.
Afternoon Leisure
After hiking, relax at a mountain teahouse or explore a small local village. Browse handcrafted bamboo products or simply unwind with a cup of local tea, soaking in the peaceful mountain atmosphere.Drive back to Hangzhou in our private vehicle.
